Pattaya is a beach resort, about 150 km southeast of Bangkok. You can enjoy beaches, shopping, and various entertainments.
This page shows Pattaya Floating Market, called Talad Nam Si Pak.

Speaking of floating markets, the two markets in Bangkok are very popular and famous: Damnoen, the morning market (in Ratchaburi, about 80 km from Bangkok) and Ampawa, the evening market (in Samut SongKhram, about 72 km from Bangkok).

The Pattaya Floating market is still new and opened in 2008. The site is very wide, about 100.000 square meter, and it has four parts of Thailand; central, north, north-east, south area.
As well as gift shops, you can enjoy various shops such as Thai massage and also Thai cultural shows such as Thai dance and Thai boxing.

Welcome board of the entrance. Now, let's go to the Pattaya Floating Market. Hmmm, it's different from the markets in Bangkok ? The picture left shows the entrance. See ? The board shows Thai boxing (above the water !) and elephants. You'll feel various Thai cultures here. We visited this market on the New Year's in 2010 and the entrance board says "Happy New Year". :)

'The Pattaya Floating Market You can see a lot of people including tourists go and come by boat and sell and buy on the water in Damnoen, the morning market in Ratchaburi. However, this market is a little bit different. Of course, you can enjoy sightseeing on a boat but it looks like this is a place where you enjoy the floating market while walking around from its structure.

Basically people go around by boat in the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market but here,you generally walk around and enjoy shops. Of course, you can enjoy going around by boat.

They are having lunch with small tables that you see in the north of Thailand like in Chiangmai.	A lot of shops there and very crowded.	A lot of shops there and very crowded.	Well, it's very warm. I didn't see a lot of people wearing this type, though. :)

They sell food called Kanom Krok Kai Nokkatha, food using eggs (like quail eggs ?) Speaking of floating markets, "Boats" comes first. They sell various food on the boat and you can travel around the market by boat also. In the picture right, they sell food called Kanom Krok Kai Nokkatha, food using eggs (like quail eggs ?)
