Thailand - Sriracha ( Si Racha )
Photo Gallery of Sriracha ( Si Racha ) in Thailand.
It's located at the Gulf of Thailand, about 100 kilometers or 60 miles south-east of Bangkok.
( Pattaya is about 30km south and Bang Saen is about 10 km north of Siracha. )
You can see a Thai-Chinese temple called Wat Ko Loi on the island called Koh Loy (Loy Island) which is connected with the mainland by a long causeway. You also can
enjoy zoos; Khao Khew Open Zoo and Si Racha Tiger Zoo.
Sri Racha is the home of famous spicy sauce Naam Phrik Sii Raachaa.
I didn't notice that when I visited here in January, 2010, but many Japanese work on the nearby industrial estates and more than two thousand Japanese (their families, expatriate employees, and business travellers) live in the area. That's why this area, Sri racha, has a Japanese school like in Bangkok.
